Brett Farve

So what does everyone think about him wanting to come out of retirement now? 

I think the Packers should just trade him away.  They may win more with him but I think its time for them to move on and put Rodgers in the starting role.  I believe his contract is up after this year and if Farve comes back its less likely for him to re-sign and they did draft Rodgers specifically to replace Farve.  I think it is a little selfish that Farve is trying to come back and although he is one of the all time greats I don't think you can expect a franchise who is all set to move on to just welcome him back just like that.  Releasing him would just be a stupid move especially if the Vikings actually did pick him up and paying him millions to sit the bench as a back up is even more stupid.

He should have known he was gonna want to come back. Everyone else did.

This situation will only get uglier.

As I've said before, Favre should take a tip from John Elway and go out on a good note. This rigamarole is just tarnishing people's memories of a great player.

Favre is a fool.  Retire already.  I don't feel sorry for a guy who changes his mind every other week.

Take him back, play him a minute so he can get his ovation, and stick him on IR for the rest of the year. Force the issue, Packers.

Yes he should. I'm sure most of you all are too young to remember the abortion of Johnny Unitas with the Chargers (I'm almost too young for that) and Joe Namath with the Rams. Even Montana with the Chiefs was a shell of himself. Farve........ra, should just be graceful.
