Late to the party...Bands I almost didn't find

Well, I am here to start a thread on bands that I just came across that others have seemingly known about for a while. For whatever reason I didn't get into these bands until after I joined this message board or saw reviews for them. I can't believe I waited this long! Here's a few:

Katatonia--Bought "The Great Cold Distance" a couple months ago and man I love it. Just what I need when I want something easier on the ears

Soilent Green--Heard about em all these years, but just bought their new one. I am now going to go buy their older stuff as well.

Immortal--I know, I know...I am a black metal newbie here. "Sons of Northern Darkness" is where I have started and I love it.

WITTR and Agalloch--"Two Hunters" and "Ashes..." both purchased at same time as Immortal and I can't believe it took me so long.

Between the Buried and Me--Denied the purchase of Alaska and then almost missed out on one of my new favorites "Colors". Since buying Colors I righted my wrong and purchased Alaska...glad I did.

Armored Saint. Raising Fear rules.

Uriah Heep -- I'd heard of them, but never really listened to anything besides Easy Livin'.

 Slough Feg. I've been familiar with their sound and have heard about their greatness for fucking forever, but I just got around to finally getting an album by them about three months ago. I got Traveller, and its magnificent!!

Meshuggah.  Obzen has been one helluva pleasant surprise for ol' me.

Running Wild (I have their best of double disc, but nothing else. I love everything I've heard from them, too)

I'm kinda in this boat, too. I heard Destroy Erase Improve and Chaosphere back in the day, was not particularly impressed and ceased to listen to them. Then, when obZen dropped, I gave them a listen again. Glad I did.

 Septic Flesh, Rotting Christ, Primordial, Turisas, Moonsorrow, and Candlemass, just to name a few I've recently been digging.

Slough Feg. I'd heard the name before and saw ads, but I didn't check um out til I saw virtually everyone here on MR popin' wood over um. So needless to say, I had to  investigate, and low and behold... color me erect.

 Primordial is another one for me.  Missed the boat on these guys entirely until I started coming 'round here.

Oh yeah, dude, Moonsorrow is another one for me. I guess mostly because their newer stuff appeals to me much more than their older stuff did.

I haven't heard half the bands listed here either, plenty of time for that though. Definitely better late than never.

I would be remiss if I did not mention the mighty Solitude Aeturnus. If not for this site exploding about them around the time of Alone, I might have completely missed them.
