    Radar:

I'm going to need some help on this one.  It's great and full bodied for an ale, with a good malt backing, but I can't identify the fruity flavor going on in there.  None of the reviews on The Advocate seem to have it pinned either.  It's a very tropical flavor.  If such a fruit doesn't exist, we should invent one, like they did with the Grapple, only not crap.

Anyone had it?  It's kind of driving me nuts.

Wow its funny you say that since I joined Beer Advocate a couple months ago.  I've never had that beer but if I do I'll let you know what I think.  Just curious but whats your username?

This one is specifically for you since its my first ever drain pour.  Dogfish Head World Wide Stout smelled like Bacardi 151 and tasted just as bad.  I don't know about you but breweries that make American Imperial Stouts seem to just try and have as much alcohol as possible without worrying about taste at all.  I washed the WWS down with a Great Divide Titan IPA which may be my new go to beer when I want to spend the money.

It's Radar.  Funny coincidence, that.  I don't review much on there, but I use it as a resource a lot.  I try to get a new beer, evaluate it on my own unbiased-like, and then check-a the reviews to compare notes.  If I do a review, I usually do it through RateBeer on Facebook.

I saw the WWS at my local shop, though "One of these days...", and then they stopped carrying it (maybe seasonal, yours had turned?  I've had a few renouned stouts that I hated and chalked up to age).

Since we're sharing, I've had 3 pours.  First an Avery (we've been over how they can't mask alcohol, imagine it at 20%):

    Then two consecutive:

    and

    http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/296/838

(The first I think was just crap, the second may have been old).

    Right now, drinking:

I'm not sure if I'm down or not.  You seem to have more experience with Victory than me, I'm betting you've had it, what's your take?

    Gadamn that was wordy.

God damn it’s a long way home.

I drank about 20 PBRs this weekend.

    It was awesome.

I haven't had Hop Wallop yet but I've enjoyed pretty much everything I've had by Victory.  I don't review anything on there just because I don't think I have the experience to sit there and pick out every flavor so I use it for the same as you.

If I ever buy a WWS again I think I'll put it down for a while.  The one I had said bottled in 2007 but a beer that strong you would think it wouldn't go bad so easily.  Almost everything I tasted was pure alcohol, I should have been taking shots of it.

While going to NJ for the weekend for my girlfriends friends wedding I found a beer heaven but for now I am attempting to finish off a growler of Harvest Moon Irish Stout.

I'm also patiently waiting the day to drink what may be the most appetizing desert beer ever.

My local joint finally started carrying this again, so I picked one up.  First sip had me sputtering, but it smoothed out after that.  It had a great bourbon and vanilla flavor.  I'm a fan, maybe even more so than of the 120 Minute.

Oh, and how was the Ten Fidy?

God damn it’s a long way home.

Maybe mine was bad but all I remember is it smelled like pure alcohol and I think that ruined any flavors I got out of the taste.

Ten Fidy was damn good.  I just picked up a 4 pack when I was down in Jersey over the weekend with some Stone stuff (since we don't get that in CT).  I actually saw a vinatage 2004 WWS that I almost picked out but didn't feel like shelling out $10 for it.

Have fun with that Creme Brulee, I could barely finish it.  It wasn't bad but it was just so extremely sweet it was hard to drink.  It did smell and taste extremely similar to Creme Brulee though so if your opinion on drinking a very sweet desert will most likely determine how much you like it.

Thouroughly enjoying a Boulevard right now.  It's been too long.

Why did I start drinking Pabst again?  Because I'm a fucking dumbass...?

    Just say yes.
