I just cant see Metallica being liked again by Metal fans anymore... anyway I think it will sound like The Black Album part.2.

I'm hopeful, but I'm pretty sure there are other albums out in September that we've all been discussing that will likely trump this....

That's my fear too. I hate the Black Album. I'm one of those who will pick up Load before that pile of shit.

However i think this is going to shred. I'm not sure why, just a gut feeling.

I think it's instrumentally better, by a long shot. Every song on the ST is predictable from start to finish and it's clear Rock made it for the masses. Load mixes it up a little and I find it to be a little more challenging to the ears.

It's just pretty generic hard rock to my ears. I'd rather listen to any of the grunge bands of the previous few years.

Load would've been better if they played up the Southern Gothic/Country thing more and if James could actually fucking sing.
