I was once bored to tears for forty-five solid minutes at Ozzfest, and this was also Powerman 5000's fault.

    Wrecking Balls:

    JW:
I would've loved to have seen the Anthrax/Megadeth/Slayer tour back in the day.

    Me too Sad

I saw that one.  Back in '91, right?  Killer.

There are a bunch, but a lot of the ones that stand out the most are non-metal, oddly enough.

There's a club called Bogarts in Cincy, about 1.5 hours away.  In 1988/89 I missed Janes Addiction on their Nothing Shocking tour.  One of my favorite albums ever.  I was out of town w/ my family--I was still in high school.  Right around that time I also missed Soundgarden and Danzig (SG opened).  Also out of town.  In college I had a ticket to see Pearl Jam play there early in the tour for Ten.  By the time the show came around "Alive" had broken and they were getting big.  But I had some shit come up and couldn't go.  Friends sold my ticket for a nice profit.  In 1990 I missed Killing Joke on their Extremities... tour (another favorite album).  They played at a club in Lexington.  Also decided not to drive to Dayton to see Nirvana on the In Utero tour.  "I'll see 'em next time" I thought...

    Carcass/Life of Agony . . . 1994, I think.

Either I wasn't driving at the time or there was an age restriction at Berkeley Square.  That would have great just to see the two audience types mingle.

I would've loved to see Agalloch in Toronto during the Winter Solstice gig they had when The Mantle was recently released.  At that time, I didn't know the band existed though.

Pantera - Never got to see them.  I was too young during their first two records, didnt have a ride during Far Beyond and GSTK tours, and on tour myself during their last tours.  Bummer!!!

Smashing Pumpkins - On their Melancholy tour

This last Converge tour with Baroness, Genghis Tron, and Red Chord

I just missed Fu Manchu a few weeks ago. It sucked because I always catch them when they come around. Not a big deal, but a stoner rock show at a smaller venue is always great.

couple recent shows at Slim's that i've missed, particularly Wolves in the Throne Room last October, Amon Amarth last december, Therion earlier this year i think

one i couldn't possibly have gone to considering i likely wasn't born yet, referred to as "The Show," 1985 Combat tour with Slayer, Venom and Exodus, o what a thrashfest that was had

would've been nice to have seen metallica before they recorded the black album
