TERROR Posts New Video For “Never Alone” Online; Prepares For Headlining Tour

The hardcore loyalists in LA's TERROR are currently preparing for a massive seven-week, headlining, North American trek in support of their highly acclaimed new album, The Damned, The Shamed. The tour, which kicked off on July 17th, also features The Warriors, Death Before Dishonor, CDC and Trapped Under Ice. It also marks the group's first headlining tour in almost two years. Be sure to visit www.myspace.com/terror to view their complete touring itinerary.

TERROR recently completed a new video for the vicious track, "Never Alone," which was shot by acclaimed director Doug Spangenberg and Space Monkey Studios (Lamb of God, Every Time I Die). The clip is the first part of a two story conceptual piece and also captures the band's unrelenting, frenetic stage energy. It made its exclusive, online debut through the Headbangers Ball Blog today and premieres on MTV2 this Sat. night. Click on the link below to check it out now.

Scott Vogel (vocals) further describes the concept behind the new video: "At the end of the Earth Crisis tour, we took a day to shoot two new Terror videos: ‘Never Alone' and ‘Betrayer.' The storylines are connected and I guess you need to see both to get the full picture. They were done by our friends at Space Monkey who did the last video, ‘Lost,' and also our DVD.  A lot of the scenes were shot in an old prison in the Philly area. For the most part it is run down, but it still does house some inmates. The building was eerie and really set the tone for the long day. I guess overall the videos deal with truth and trust, knowing who the enemy is, greed and lust, revenge and death; the way all of these interlock in this ugly world and it shows the results of these inner battles.  It's always kind of odd for me when we are shooting these things, but the end result is great."

Rest assured that The Damned, The Shamed is the definitive hardcore album of 2008. Their melding of no-frills, breakneck hardcore and the fervor of new generation metal makes for one hell of a pit no matter what city or stage the band leaves in ruin.
