In sort of a BETA phase, we are utilizing MetalPriceWatch.com price comparison data on the bottom of all of our Artist pages.

EXAMPLE: http://www.metalreview.com/Artists/2046/Annihilator.aspx

Though there are pieces of duplicate data here and there, as a whole, it's great being able to compare prices across the popular stores, all in one place.

Help spread the word! In the left column of review pages, underneath the album information, you will see a Share Button button. Hover your mouse over the button and "DIGG" us or share us on your favorite social networking website. Every link you submit for us helps build our growing network of metal fans.

To see what we have coming up in the "pipeline" to review, click on the PIPELINE menu item in the upper right corner of the homepage. To post a lash (comment) about one of those albums, find the album in the list and click on PRE-REVIEW LASHES >>. Your lash will get posted and denoted as "Pre-Review" for the life of that post and the life of the review (post-publish).

To make a link active, call it whatever you want in the text, like, "link" if you're feeling super creative.  Then highlight the word(s), and the chain buttons in the task bar above will light up.  Click the chain link button and you'll get a new window.  Put your link's URL OR your YouTube video's link in there, and then choose whether you want it to open in a new window or the same window.  Then hit ok - your link is now active.  You can test it in preview before posting.  If you messed up, highlight the term again and hit the button that looks like a broken chain link and do it again.

Second way to embed a video: Copy the URL of the video, then in your post put:  View:http://www.whateverwhatever.com  but put [ ] around it.

Thanks  sweetiemuffinsugarplum for the tip.

It's nice for other people to be able to click and go to your Metal Review blog from a link in your profile. One way to do this is:

1. Click and navigate to your blog.
2. Click the RSS posts link up top.
3. The next page will show an RSS feed of your posts. Copy the URL in the browser's address bar.
4. Click on Edit Profile in the upper right corner of the screen.
5. Navigate to where it says, "Shared Feeds" and paste that URL into the box.

Did you know, we now offer blogs to all members? A blog is an online journal, but ours goes farther than that. You can actually create web pages in your blog, as well as regular posts. Readers can lashout underneath your posts and you can customize everything from the font size to the background image. You have complete control!

All new members from here on out will get a blog created for them automatically.  If you have been a member for awhile and don't see a blog link in your dashboard, then please send an email to matt@metalreview.com with your Metal Review username and I will create a blog for you.
