I was watching some special the other day and I saw the same video. It's pretty shocking, to say the least, especially because it's aimed at such little kids. On the same program they interviewed a bunch of people in Iraq and asked them if they believed in a massive Jewish conspiracy to take over the world and most people reacted like this was obvious and a given.
Memri is not exactly a reliable source of information on what's mainstream in the Middle East. It's a conservative, pro-Israeli site. What they show is a lot of scare tactic kind of stuff. Sure, it's out there, but they pick the most extreme stuff to show.
I don't doubt that it's not exactly a mainstream program, but that doesn't make it any less horrifying.
I just think you need to keep it in perspective.
I am keeping it in perspective--my perspective is that of someone who's very, very far away from that noise, and that's a good thing if you ask me.
